"When you're working on the horse's ribs, the inner cauxils, you want to check that area using your fingertips to see if there are any sore areas. You can either use all of your four fingers on one hand or just one at a time, using your thumb, perhaps, going this way. Just checking. Don't go too far down the horse's side, maybe about halfway. And noting any sore areas, and again, treating those areas with direct pressure. There's a little sore spot. There's a knot right there. So, just apply a little pressure and stop. And combing the whole area with your fingertips. (Combs horse with fingertips). And again, looking for sore areas while you do it and treating those when you find them."
