"With the wheel spinning at a moderate speed I'm going to apply a layer of slip. And slip is or ungold is just a different color clay liquid clay that can be applied when the clay is in the leather hard condition. The slip will offer a different color depending on the glaze that's covering it. But as you can see on a raised surface it'll also give a three dimensional effect to the piece itself. And with the brush you can spread the slip out."
