"So, to go from Side Angle to Trikonasana Triangle is not a big change in the shape of the body. But, there's a change in your way of thinking. So, squeezing the root together sending the root towards this back leg. This back leg is key, it's really pressing down. It's causing this half of the pelvis to rise up. It's causing this half of the pelvis to come down and under. And, then keeping this sitting bone in line with this heel. But, I'm also keeping my crown in line with my tail. So, I like to have the hand back here. It's going to remind me not to bow forward. Open it up. And, then I'm going to push with the foot and the arm and I'm going to begin to stretch out the back of that leg. Not allowing that sitting bone to drift back towards the wall behind me. Not allowing the tail to point back behind me. Keeping the tail rooting towards the pubic bone. Root is pulling together and this one is the Closed Root Pose. Sitting bones pulling towards each other. And, as I do that I can also reach elongate through that back leg and out. Because, I want my head to travel through the spine along the horizontal. And, again you can take the arm up. Usually, I don't because it tends to distract. Take the arm behind, feel the pelvis. Reach through the crown."
