"Alright now were going to use an offset auger. Now remember the offset auger means that both the right hand and the left hand are set off of the center of the stem. Both arms in this case are going to be used equally there is no hand on top like an in line auger pushing downward both hands will be used it is quite a bit quicker than an in line. Notice the technique once again feet are set up just outside of shoulder width apart a little bit of bend in the knees so that you can still use your body weight to push down through. Notice both hands working together. Now keep in mind this is a six inch auger you don't have the luxury of using your hand on top as a body weight and there we go straight through. Once again plunge the whole. Put you foot in the middle and push the ice out to the side."
