"Okay, so now we've got young McKenna up out of the hole on the ice, but the ice is still thin around her. We're going to need to find a way to get McKenna onto the thicker ice, and then we're going to need to take the precautions to prevent hypothermia. We're going to need to get her change of clothes quickly and cover her with a reflective space blanket. And Rudy is going to demonstrate this. The first thing we're going to start with, Rudy, is your daughter is going to blow a whistle and let us know that she is in distress and she needs help. McKenna, go ahead and blow that whistle. Alright, that let's us know that somebody needs our help. So what we're going to do is, McKenna is now up onto the edge of the ice where the ice is still thin. We're going to toss her a line, she's going to grab onto it without me, my weight going over near the hole where she fell in, I'm going to pull here out of the ice and get her over to safety here where the ice is safe where I was standing. And that is going to be important to help her get out of her wet clothes real quick. So we're going to want to help her get out of there so she doesn't get hypothermia. It's important to get her undressed, uncovered quickly, and then get her over onto some new clothes. Here's some new clothes, quick put them on, that we can put on quickly. McKenna, if you'd like to quickly put on this polar fleece so you don't get real cold."
