"Continuing with the letter I. The letter I is just fits right into that x height, and the dot for the I is actually a little square or cube that floats in the asunder space. Now on the letter I, we're starting, going to start to notice that the pen sometimes doesn't give us neats starts and stops. Now it won't work for me now because I'm trying to show you a break, but sometimes the beginning of your letter will be ragged. And the way to get around that is to take a little tick stroke. We call it an entrance stroke. So there, I'm exaggerating these and don't get carried away. There, tick stroke. And that's actually the origin of serifs that we see on letters. There's the tick and the exit and the dot. So the dot isn't really round, it's square."
