"In mountain posture the basis of all our standing postures, you start off with your feet, grounding the feet so your heels are together, toes apart. You are grounding the feet straight into the earth and then you want to soften the knees. And as you soften the knees, then you are going to take the ball and you are going to move right up with your hands towards the ceiling and reach up tall. Now as you reach up tall, you try to edge your hands right in towards the center of the ball, so it's not as easy to balance, but you are going to move your fingers in closer together. Now your knees are soft, your elbows are long, it's calling the energy in your body if from the waist down is going into the feet, and from the energy the weight in your body from the waist up going through the fingers so one is connecting to the earth and the other one to the heavens. Now breathe in deep through your nose, exhaling reaching tall and burying the weight of your body right into your feet. Inhaling, and exhaling, so your knees are kept soft the elbows are kept long. Inhaling, and then exhale and then release, bring the ball right down."
