"In forward bend in yoga it's enhanced by the use of a ball because you actually have something to hold on to so you can stretch. But you are going to start off with your heels together, toes apart in a basic mountain posture so your feet are grounded. And then you take that ball between your hands and just reach right up tall. Now here take the legs and lengthen them so they're straight. Take a deep breath in and then exhale, reach forward, wherever it is for you, some people can go down half way, some people can come down, you head though stays in line with that ball, exhale. Now inhale come all the way up tall, stretching up high so you feel the connection between the hand the shoulder and the hip. And then exhale come down with the legs straight and leaning out with the ball all the way down. Inhaling coming up tall, keep the arms straight and then exhale and come all the way down and reach out with that ball towards the end of your mat. Inhale lift up tall, and then exhale one more time, come all the way down and then inhale one more time come all the way up and then exhale bring the ball back to the center."
