"In this clip we are going to do some final finishing cuts to make sure that we have a nice smooth surface and for this cut I'm going to practice my sheer cutting using the scraper held at a 45 degree angle. Notice the shavings I am getting. They should be nice and wispy. Let's take a look at our surface and you can see where I did the sheer cutting, practicing that sheer cut and where there was no cutting and you can see the difference on the surface and it is much easier to practice this cut on a green piece of wood than dry. But it is always a good chance to practice any cut."
