"Okay so you're about to practice. You're at the range or you're at the course and ready to play. It would be wise to spend a few moments stretching. So first thing you can do is just take a club and wrap your arms around it and turn and hold it. Then go to the other side. Turn and hold it. And do this a few times each way and that will start warming up the core. The other thing you can do. You want to stretch out your quads. So you do this and hold it on both legs. Then you want to stretch your back out a little bit. So try to touch your toes. So stand up straight and go down and hold this and you'll feel a nice stretch in your back and the back of your legs. Then you want to stretch your arms. So you just do some arm circles. Warm those up. Because golf's going to involve every part of your body. So in addition to what we're doing on this video it would be really good if you joined a local gym and started working out and getting stronger in the upper body and mid section and the legs. But what we're showing you here is just some basic stuff you can warm up. So just take your arm and then go side to side like this. Like a triangle. But if you join a club or just start working out on your own you'll be amazed. Not only will you feel better the rest of your life your golf game will get better and you'll prevent injuries. So training off the course, off the driving range is just as important as what you do on it. Because all the golf pros today are in the weight room. Tiger Woods is a weight training maniac. But they all lift weights. They all do some type of stretching and cliometrics and isometric exercises. So find out what's right for you and incorporate it into your lifestyle. It'll help your golf game in a big way."
