"Letter F. Now, the letter F is going to challenge your skills, because we're going to take the letter F from the top of the ascender space all the way down through the descender space. So, in order to give you a marker to relate that to, I'm going to put a lower case I in here. So we're going to start up here, curve slightly, come down, and curve slightly the other way. We're going to make a hook here, and a hook here, and then for the first time, we're going to make a crossbar that is hanging. You can see it's hanging from the lower case height mark, the x height. So to go over the f again, we're going to start here, go all the way down. Make a cap, a crossbar, and another cap. So there's the F. So if I make an L next to it, the Y, you can see how it fits into that space. It is a demanding letter because we have this long stroke. It's the longest stroke in the whole italic alphabet. One, two, three."
