"Okay, so I was going to hit a full sand wedge, I'm going to grip it near the top of the grip, and I'm going to use the full length on it. But, I've got a relatively short chip here, so if I grip it here, I'm going to have to take a very small swing, to get it that short distance. So for me, it's worked out a lot better and more natural, I choke down on it, so I shorten the club. And then I can take a more natural, fuller swing, because the further down I choke down, even if I swing it full, the shorter it's going to go. So, by choking down, which I have found is one of the most valuable practice tips, that's helped me score a lot better on the course. I just choke down and now I can take a more natural swing for those shorter chips. So if I’ve got a real short chip, instead of what a lot of people do is they get real nervous, they take their back-swing and they try to slow the club down, which is no good. This allows me, so I can just hit a six foot chip that way. And it was really difficult for me before this to do this. So think about choking down on the club, whenever you've got these short chips and it's going to be able to really help you out. So choke down and you can take a much more natural, free-flowing swing. And it will help your game immensely."
