"Now I'm going to show you how to clean or oil your bore. Basically, if you have a wood clarinet, you want to swab it out first with our trusty little swab here. And also has a weight on it so you just want to go through the top usually and pull that on through and get any of that moisture out of it that there is. I want you to take, I like to use farm's bees lemon oil, I like the smell of it. You can use mineral oil. Try not to use any vegetable oil, olive oil, anything that can turn rancid on you. We basically take that and we'll have our little pad saver here which I don't use for a pad saver. I just use for oiling bores or gently swabbing out the and, we'll just put a little bit of this lemon oil on our pad saver. Just ever so slightly, just put it in there and give it a good oil, and this should really be done seasonally, if you live in a dry climate, you should do it, you know, monthly. But it's very imperative because your wood will crack if you do not keep it conditioned. But again with your plastic clarinet, now this one we can use a little bit of cleaner on. We'll go ahead and use some of this Windex, and we'll put it on our swab here. It will do the same little action there, just drop it down. And pull it through, you have to be real careful sometimes because these swabs will get stuck every once in a while, but if that happens to you, definitely bring it into a repair professional. But that is how to oil slash clean the bore of your instrument."
