"Now, I'm going to tell you about the parts of the clarinet. We'll start off with the top, here. This is the mouthpiece, of course that goes on the top of the instrument. This is a ligature, which holds on the reed, on the mouthpiece, and the mouthpiece cap, which actually protects your mouthpiece when it's in the case, or actually when your instrument, you're not playing it and it's on the stand, or something in between songs. Put that cap on there, and that will protect your mouthpiece. Next up, is the barrel. This barrel actually comes in a couple of different sizes for tuning purposes, and then we have our upper joint, our main joint here, which consists of the register key and your trill keys, and then we have our lower section, our lower joint here that we're, the bell which is pretty much, for tuning purposes only. If you did not have this on your clarinet, you would not be able to play your low B flat on the instrument, and those are the parts of the clarinet."
