"Now I'm going to show you how to clean the head joint of your flute. First of all I want to start off by saying it's very important to keep this part of your flute clean. Any little bit of debris in there can affect the way that your instrument sounds. This is the most important part of the flute. First of all, we can start by using of course a little bit of soap and water, denatured alcohol on the end of a Q tip. And we want to go along the inside of this embouchure hole here and get that all nice and clean. Now with soap and water, we want to take our pad saver here and wet it down, and go ahead and go in there and scrub that out real good. And of course, you want to wipe that dry and let it dry overnight. Or if you can use a blow dryer to dry out the inside of it. But that is how you clean your head joint."
