"Now I'm going to be showing you how to remove a stuck tuning slide. First of all, there are numerous reasons why your tuning slide can get stuck. You can have a dent in your slide legs here, also could be dirty, it hasn't been greased in a long time, or the slide or the body could be skewed. First thing we want to do if your slide is stuck is to put a little bit of penetrating oil on there, any penetrating oil that you'd like or keep around the house would be good. WD-40 is something everybody usually has. Just let that set on there for a little bit, overnight if needed. OK, now we're going to go ahead, after we've done that, we're going to put our feet on the bell here, there ever so slightly, try not to get it too far in as to dent the instrument. And we're going to go ahead and pull up as hard as we can and, as to remove that stuck slide. That one came out very nicely. And that is how to remove a stuck slide."
