Video Transcript

"The first thing you need when you're doing a bridal bouquet is you need to learn the bride and her personality and what she likes and dislikes. You need to talk to her and find out if she likes more traditional style flowers or if she likes more tropical style flowers, if she would like to have something that's very formal or informal. If she would like to have, if it's an outdoor wedding or an indoor wedding does she like something that's big and grand or something very small and simple. Each bride is different and each bride will let you know what they want when you first talk to them. The one thing I always have them do is tell me, act as if I was a their best girlfriend across country. And, on a phone conversation talk to them about how she visualizes her wedding to be and what she'd like it to look like and how she wants to feel when she walks down the aisle or if it's a casual one where she'd like to have it take place. You need to find out all these things, so that your bridal bouquet will be an accent to her and not take her over. And, that's how you get to learn the bride and her personality."
