"When you are making a boutonniere to match the corsage it is a very similar technique. You need to take and elongate the stem and put it on to wires so it is a lot more flexible and easier to work with. You use your floral tape putting it in your right hand between your pinky and your fourth finger. Start at the top holding it tightly and turning it with a little tautness to it so that it wraps right on down along the stem. So now your main flower is ready to go, you don't want to get anything too long and too crazy because the kids aren't that big. The same thing will happen with your small filler flowers. You can create little bundles with them. You don't necessarily have to use the exact same flowers that is in the corsage so you could take and add a little interest with a different flower and create your little bundles as you go. What you try to do here is also make sure you put on your greens. You need something for a little height of your boutonniere and you can also add anything in there that will create a little interest and you bundle them up. So at this point you basically have your main flower and your accent little bundle beside your flower that you will be putting together for your boutonniere."
