"The next step, you don't necessarily have to have them, but it's always good to have is some kind of a bow or ribbon on the corsage itself. There's different types of ribbon out there. You can either get a metallic ribbon that matches the jewelry she's wearing, you can get a quarter inch ribbon that's under any color of the rainbow, whether it matches the dress or compliments it, you can get to a larger bow or ribbon with a sheer, make sure it's wired. It's easier to work with when it's wired. I'm going to use a just a real simple three loop ribbon with this, and I'm going to use it a little bit wider piece because we're making it a little more contemporary, and it's going to be something we want a little bit heavier up onto the arm. The first thing that you do is you'll have your ribbon cut, give it a little extra length so that you could always come back and adjust this. You take your thumb and forefinger and you hold it together and you push in and you twist towards yourself to come up with your first loop. You do the same thing, you hold it here with your finger and you push in and you have your first loop on your bow. And you make sure that you always turn your ribbon so that you have the finished satin side out, as opposed to the unfinished sides in. And you can start up on one side, you come down, back to that same two fingers, push, twist and come down and go up. So it's you're just rolling it back and forth. Twist and come up. And you have to make sure you do that twisting because you're going to come out with different finishes on that, on the ribbon. And what I'm going to do is add an extra tail onto it. So you'll take the exact same thing is you'll push it on into there and then you twist it. Okay, make sure you have nice, sharp scissors so that you get a clean cut. You take a piece of wire gage and you'll go right through where your finger and thumb is. You pull it through on both ends; you grab the bow at the base of it and then twist it. Twist it a couple of times to get it tight. And then now you just fluff out your bows, making sure that the ribbon tails are going to be the same direction that you want them to be direction, direction that you want them to be flowing. And then you do, you just tuck it right on up and take those tail ribbons that you have, and you wrap it right around that same place that you glued in the center of those two bows. And then now you've created a nice bow for your arrangement. And that's how you make a bow and attach it to a corsage."
