"One of the things that we're doing in this piece that I'm going to create is we need to cover the styrofoam here with leaves. So, we'll take, it's silk magnolia leaves, or you could use dried, and hot glue them right on down to the piece of plastic, or the styrofoam. Put some glue on the back, what's really kind of nice about it is that the styrofoam will melt once this hot glue hits it. Make sure you don't get your fingers. And, you just place it on down in there and hold it in place. Sticks and dries pretty good. So what you, what I did is I covered all my forms with the leaves. The other thing I'm doing is going to create a little bridge, by creating a weaving. I've taken and cut up all the bamboo in strips that I would like it to be in. Take the green floral tape wire and place it in spot where you would like it and give it a twist two times to hold it in, both sides. So, now you're creating a little fence if you want to do a fence this way or any kind of texture by using wired together pieces. Anything you want to add interest, it's, get that solid base started, go right ahead. These are just covered with leaves and that's what you need to do is start thinking of things you're going to use for your background and the base of all of your work."
