Part of the challenge of doing the foliage is that there is so much going on that it's hard to keep it all straight. So, let's keep it simple. We've drawn that one in the center. Let's establish the ones that are clearly sub-visible, the ones that are nearby, like that group under this group of flowers. And not worry about what's going on in the background. We'll worry about what's going on in the background after we've established the basic shapes of the primary leaf groups. That leaf group has a large area of a pure green. And let's establish that dark edge along the very bottom which establishes its serrated edge. For that group. And now that we've established the basic shape that it has, let's come back in with some of the lighter values that represent where the light is falling on it. And there's a little light over here as well. And that's getting pretty close. Still needs some more highlights, still needs some more dramatic darknesses. And this green is almost blue. Some of the veins' patterns are visible in that darker blue. Especially where it is in that light lit area. And then there's that shadow. And here's another vein area. And against every time that there's a vein, you can see that there's a dark line. And there's a highlight as well. One can't exist without the other.
