"So I've scored them all and squished them together, and now I can change the direction of the tops of these tubes. I want to just have them be a little bit random so that the flowers that are coming out will be sticking off in all different directions. But, it's not a vase until it has a bottom to hold the water. So I'm going to leave those aside, and I'm to go ahead and cut a little piece of clay to make a base. I'm going to take my wire tool and just slide it across, try to get a pretty even piece. Doesn't have to be perfect yet at this point. And then I'm just going to take it and throw it against the table, pulling it towards myself as I throw it to stretch it out and make it a good thickness for the base. So once it's large enough and also thin enough, I'm ready to go ahead and attach this to the other piece."
