"So now before I take this pot off of the wheel and set it aside to dry, I want to go ahead and shape it, so that when I put the handles on there will be that nice indentation. So what I am going to do is I am going to take my fore finger and my pinky, I'm going to hold them against the rim off this pot, I am going to take my sponge which is moist but no water will squeeze out of it and just gently press towards the middle. Now the reason why I do this is because the handle is going to continue the original circle, but that gives you a place when you grab it to take it out of the oven for your hand to get a really good grip. So I will spin this around, one too many, and then I am going to gage to try to make it even and do the same thing on this side and then once I have done that it is usually not exactly perfectly aligned so I will go back and just sort of tweak these, so that they look like they are exactly across from each other. Now I will let this set up for a little while, while I make the handles and then I will show you how to attach the handles."
