"What we have here is just a simplified drawing of what, of our nut. Now notice the nuts do have a radius. They have fret boards and nuts often on most guitars, have some kind of a radius, a curve to them. And right now this nut is sitting so that the strings are sitting deep inside there. What we're basically going to do is, we're just going to remove this part of that nut so that the strings are resting in the nut slots, but not completely buried by them. We'll use a simple file to do this. And I've already removed the strings. And I'm simply just going to take off a little bit of that top surface, and take it down a little bit, checking every once in a while. And I've left the strings partially on here, so that I can bring them into place and just see if I've gone far enough as I work. Just going to take this top surface down a little bit. Not brain surgery. Once in a while check it, that's looking good. That one's good, that one's good. This one can come down a little bit more. And that one can come down a little bit more too, so we're almost there."
