"Now we have determined by the, by having taking measurements before that the, that the depth of the nut slots are, are, are good because the, the strings are sitting at a decent height above the frets. And that we have no buzzes here on the first fret. That measurement just for your own interest is at about oh, two hundredths of an inch above this fret board and that number is variable depending upon the height of the frets themselves. But it works on this particular instrument, it's a good, good height. But what we determined was that the, that the nut itself was too high, because the, the strings are sitting too deeply into that nut, into those nut slots and that can cause binding. What we would really like to do is have the nut strings sit about half way down the nut slots. So what we need to do is we need to take down some of the top of the nut, so that the strings don't have to sit so tightly in those, in those slots."
