"Although putting a string on, almost every guitar player knows how to put a string on, a lot of people don't do it quite, quite right. Slip the string into the slot and make sure that there's on your bridge pin, there's usually a slot, make sure that that slot goes forward and matches the edge of the string. And when you bring it up to the other end of the string, it's a good idea to wrap it once or twice before you pass the string through the tuner post slot and pull it tight. And then I like to put a bend or a kink in it before I start to pull it up to tension and that'll help it from slipping."
