"I am going to talk about proper ventilation in a darkroom. And, I cannot say more how important proper ventilation is for your own comfort and actually your health than, you know, even setting up with the right expensive equipment. There is really nothing worse than setting up a darkroom in a relatively small space without proper ventilation. This will not be a joy for you. You will immediately get a headache and not really enjoying darkroom photography. So, there is a couple of different ways to ventilate your darkroom. One of the most inexpensive ways that I have seen is to go to a home improvement center and buy a two way fan. It is a, you know, relatively inexpensive thirty or forty dollars. And, one fan takes air in and one fan takes air out. So, that is one way you can ventilate a small space darkroom while still being relatively comfortable. And again, back to the point I am stressing, you really do not want to start doing this type of work without having some kind of ventilation in there. You might want to test it out at first before you really begin serious work."
