"O.k. what I've done here because it's just more convenient is I put cobalt blue and red here, and then the yellow so that you can use them all together being very close instead of having to pulling them out from the different areas. So we're going to create a flesh tone; so we're going to start with the yellow, bring it in then add rose to it; either rose or red, it depends on the complexion of the person that you're painting o.k. I think I'm going to need a little more rose into this instead of just plain red because she's got more of a pink complexion o.k.; this has got the pink that I'm looking for, it's got to be toned down too but it's also way too strong so I'm going to have to add water to it; o.k. that's about right. Now we're ready to paint the face."
