O.k. right now we're going to do a portrait of a little girl and what we're going to need is like a .5 millimeter mechanical pencil because it stays sharp, and never needs to be sharpened and then we're going to need an outline to race from; and some graphite transfer paper. This kind's erasable so if I make any mistakes I can erase it; a lot of carbon paper like you have for type writers has grease in it and it won't erase. Then we're going to need a pallet; you can use a Styrofoam plate or you can get any kind of pallet that will hold it, this is a storage pallet that folds and you're going to need a water bottle; if you do let your colors dry they aren't ruined, you just spray them and the color will come back up in the brush; it's a good idea to spray each color about seven times to give it enough water, they've already been sprayed a little bit before and then you're going to need brushes. For this one I suggest something like a number ten or number eight but anything between a six and a twelve will work; you need a round brush that makes a good point. This; you can use a rigger, are; this is a lizard lick which has a special area to hold o lot more paint. You'll also could use a larger round brush to do the background but it's not really required.
