"Get it! Get it! Down. Good down! Good! Frog dog. Good. Good. Down. Good Down. Good. So, I'm starting to teach this dog down and all I did was put treats out in front of her that she wants, she's starting to get tired of training today, but she wants the treats. The only way she can reach them is to lay down. She's not allowed to walk towards them because I'm holding her back with the leash. Nope! Nope! Nope! And now she just hears the other Pits going so she's getting a little nervous. So, I'm going to let her stand. But, what I did was, allow her to get to the treat by laying down. So, if you rewind this clip you'll see that done again."

on 11/14/2009 How to Teach Your Rottweiler to Lay Down .. much better .. training is simple but hard to do .. it is all timing and consistency .. mark the behavior you want once (nope, nope, nope is a perfect example of what not to do)
