"With the completed and covered rubber band, if you want to add a new color, or if we just want to add another row, you can keep working with the same yarn. But I'm going to go ahead and tie a new color to it, and you just tie that to your new yarn, and just remember to pull it really tight, because you don't want that coming off. And then you can just trim off this extra stuff; don't trim it too short at first, because if it comes undone, you'll need a little bit of room to reconnect it. So just take off those little bits of yarn, and now it's like we're working with the same piece of yarn, to keep going around on our first row and add a little bit more width to our rubber band, and just a little bit of new color to kind of create something that looks like this."
