"The next very important thing about concerns with the textbook and the price of the textbook and I hear this from students every semester, I see it all the time. It is essential that whatever textbook you use, no matter how expensive it is that you use it. That is the biggest complain with students is that they had to buy a $90 book, and we never even use it. We never even read it. We never did any assignments out of it. That's why you might want to reflect back to what I talked about earlier having the journal assignments. There are some really good textbooks out there today. Find the good, beneficial material in your textbook and encourage journal activities or quizzes. But that's the big complain, is that we've got this book and we're not using it. It is up to you as a professor to find the best way to use the textbook so that the students are getting their money's worth. And that they can see, "hey there really is some good material in here. This really will be a good reference book for me later on in this subject."
