"Now I'll show you how to make these beautiful gift eggs out of a plastic egg. You can use a hosiery egg, or other plastic eggs that open, and I'll show you this one. We put a bird motif on it, and you slice the design in half, and when you open it, we you can put a picture in it and a little message. They're also good for gift giving, and we can; this one is filled with a little potpourri, and a little gift. To cover the plastic egg, you first need to take some sandpaper, just a, I'm using a 180 grit paper; that's pretty fine paper, and rough that plastic up all around, okay? If you don't do this then the decoupage may crack off of it, so this helps to grip the glue and the decoupage much better. You want to sand that over. You can remove labels if you think that they're going to show through, but if your decoupage is thick enough and it will cover the labels, then you don't have to worry about it, and you'll just decoupage right over them, and you can also sand right over them. Okay, now we're going to be decoupaging this with a paper napkin, and the paper napkin is a lot softer than scrapbook paper, so you don't have to cut it in such small pieces. You can cut it in slightly larger pieces or strips, but you still need to cut it, and the napkin usually, when you glue it on it, it wrinkles a lot, so it gives kind of a nice texture to it. And let me see, I think I'll start by cutting a strip that will go all the way around the egg, and then we'll, so we'll cut a strip that goes covers like this, and then we'll cut a little circle cap to go over it."
