"But in wheelchair tennis the serve is important just like any other game. Some guys will sit still, some will take a rolling push. The toss is important, you know, the getting at the peak. It's pretty much the same thing, we don't have the elevation to hit the ball but the serve sets up everything. You know some guys will sit right here, others will move over here. I have a little more of a flat serve so I tend to sit a little bit more in the middle here but I like to take just a little bit of a push but you know it's kind of a tricky thing because, and I don't have a lot of balance in my hips so I lean back on my chair. Some guys are like amputees or have a lot of balance so everyone's a little but different and you know coach over here will probably be making fun of all my stuff but this is what I've been doing for twenty years but, so I'll just kind of, I generally just, you know kind of flip the wrist, try to get my toss up there. Wheelchair tennis again is a little bit different in that it's tough to really put a lot of pressure on them with a second serve so sometimes you might go a little bit deeper, so you have more court coverage because you're a little more at their mercy on the second serve to hit it in the corner. But a first serve and then after, obviously after you hit the ball, you're trying to get into position and keep some momentum coming to, you know, but it's just the same thing, it's just your wheelchair is like your feet. Some guys, some guys will get tricky and actually hit, just hit like serves, you know, underhand serves but most your top players all just hit the ball."
