"Hi, my name's Dave Schoeneck, we're here in the Wasatch, beautiful Wasatch Mountains of Utah. Here to talk about adaptive sports, and how snowshoeing can fit in with a lot of people's adaptive life. This much like adaptive skiing, as you get to talk to someone and kind of get them fitted comfortably in their mono ski equipment, this is the same thing, getting them comfortable with this equipment, and they're stretched out and it builds up that relationship. And there's a trust because that's important, got to make sure that you're trusted as you're taking them out into areas that they've never been. So, always make sure that, that's going to be a priority, that there's a trust factor with your instructor. O.k, with special needs groups it's always important to never leave anybody behind. You're going to have different levels of ability, and as long as everyone is having fun and you're able to really kind of work with whoever is struggling, and make sure that the other ones are still progressing and having fun. It's not easy, it's pretty much the same challenge we have on any kind of a skiing or any kind of instructing in a group. But, as long as, you know, no one is being left behind and they are all getting it done, that's the bottom line."
