"Basic components of the ATV are real similar to a motorcycle. Right hand's going to be your brake. Most dirt bikes have a twist throttle. Most ATV's come stocked with a thumb throttle. Reason being when you're go like that, your hand doesn't do that. Making left turns a lot faster and right turns. Same clutch on this side, left hand clutch. Right hand is your front brake. Right foot is your rear brake. Left side's your shifter. They do make automatic ATV's, there's not too many automatic dirt bikes. This is your start button, off, on, start. High beam, low beam. Parking brake right here, along with your clutch. Gas tank, like we saw in the other dirt bikes. Much wider longer sitting area. Generally less than five gallons. The tank size, to get a bearing from one machine to the other, but typically, I don't think there's a dirt bike or ATV that hasn't been modified, that's going to take more than five gallons of gas. Although, a full tank will generally last you, most people, all day long. If you're riding more aggressively than that, you know it, and you know to go get gas. These here don't have a fuel gage. So like I said most people know enough to say, hey, I've been riding five, four five hours, let's go double check the tank and make sure we have enough to get home."
