"Some of the least popular brands of dirt bikes are some of these newer foreign brands, that you've never heard of. I would say if you're buying a dirt bike and you're sticking with some of the main brand companies like Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, odds are you're going to be in really great shape. Going away from those brands, might make sense to the first time rider, who's unsure if this is the commitment they want to make, if it fits their life style. You might save a couple bucks but the bikes just don't last. Sticking with any of the four major brands, you're going to be in really good shape, not just today, tomorrow and for years to come. Depends on how hard it's ridden. We've had bikes, I've seen one that came through here in 1991, a Warrior 350. That thing was fantastic. It looked one to two years old, sixteen years old. On the same token, I've seen brand new bikes, a year, year and a half old, that are just ready for retirement, early. It depends on how you maintain them, really. It's what it boils down to."
