"In this clip we're going to talk about your second layer of clothing. Your second layer of clothing should be silk. Silk has a lot of other benefits to it other than just heat transfer. Which it aids in the transfer from the nylon of the lingerie, it also increases the body temperature. It works as a scent block in some cases, but it also insects don't like it. If you're in an area that's heavy in ticks, you can wear silk under your clothing ant the ticks will avoid you. When we're talking about layering, putting on layering clothes, we're not talking about just piling on more clothes. Most of the people I take up into the brush in heavy winter conditions, they think piling on clothing is layering. Layering is also having the right clothing in the right order. And if you do it in this order that I describe, you will be comfortable in thirty below temperatures versus freezing at thirty below temperatures and not being able to hunt or not be able to participate in your outdoor activities that you're planning on. And in a lot of cases, you've paid for in advance."
