"So now that you've got your board completely put together and you've got your trucks and your wheels adjusted to how you skate you may want to try to design your board and put some stickers on it and kind of customize it the way that you like it. Now, one way that I do this is I find stickers that match the color of my board because it ends up looking good like that. So what you want to do is find a sticker and stick it on your board. And one suggestion that I have is sometimes I stick it and I let part of it come off the edge and I'll take my razor blade and I'll end up cutting a little angle off the end and customizing the way that it looks. Now there's a secret sometimes to putting stickers on a board. Sometimes stickers slide a little better than the paint that's on your board so if you decide that you do a lot of nose slides and you want a little extra help nose sliding sometimes you can put a sticker right on the nose or the tail right where you end up sliding and this will help you. Now, no sticker is going to last forever so don't get too attached to that sticker. And you can put it on your nose and you can use it for sliding. Now the material that the stickers made out of won’t last for too long but it definitely will help wear the board in slowly as you learn to do slides or do your slides and tail slides and nose slides. And some people like to customize the top of their board and cut things out with a razor blade in their grip tape or possibly you could get paint pens or make a stencil and stencil on the top of your grip tape. Now remember the only bad thing about that is if you spray too much paint on grip tape the paint fills up in between the pieces of the grain of the grit of the grip tape and it makes it less sticky by filling in those things. So you don't want to put too much layers onto grip tape because it'll end up making it a little bit slicker. And these are just a few of the ways that you can adjust the style of your board."
