"We've dealt with several front snap kicks; let's look at a side kick now. The hopping side kick which is something I think you really got to watch out for because it's so powerful, go ahead and kick me with that please, boom, it will move you clear across the room. I've seen a guy get kicked with this and literally went back fifteen feet. They use this in sparing tournaments all the time. So the idea is obviously not to be in front of that kick. Not to be right directly in front of it. You can cut to the outside, to here, or you can cut behind the kick, which is where I like to be. So when I cut behind this kick, you'll notice it's very, very similar to the front snap kick. When he does the front snap kick, here, now at the side kick, boom, that's where you want to be with this. I just take this kick right into here and choke the guy. One more time. Again not being in front of the kick here, slow, instead moving slightly here, keeping the hands up so you don't get it. You can easily do a degree ninety from here, boom, but I wanted to actually go into a control since we've already showed you a degree ninety here."
