Ok. Now we're getting ready to start our braid and with the narrow, the narrower that your part is, the longer the hair will hand towards the bottom. The wider the braid is then that will mean that it's going to be shorter at the end. So we're going to start with this finer braid. Grab a piece of hair at the beginning and you're going to want to divide it up into three parts. I've got three pieces of hair right here and we're going to do an out braid. So we're going to bring this first piece underneath and then we're going to cross this one underneath. What we're doing is we're crossing the middle strand of hair out the three. And now that we've got it started, we're going to add another little piece of hair to this part right here. It's going to be one new part and you're going to bring both of these underneath the middle one. And make sure that you hold on tight. Otherwise the braid will become loose and it won't look very well. It won't be smooth, it'll stand out and be lumpy. So just grab another piece of hair, add it to the outside one and cross it underneath the middle. And you're going to repeat this process all the way down the scalp. And it's just very important to have a good grip on the hair, especially on the outside, because the hair on the outside tends to be finer, tends to be thinner and tends to be shorter. We just keep grabbing and crossing under the middle. Keep a good grip on that hair until you get all the way down to the very end.
