Video Transcript

"Now let's talk about organizational pattern, and when I talk about organizational pattern, I'm talking about the order in which you put your information. How does it make sense? Let me give you an example. If you were going to teach me how to bake a cake, you would teach me in a certain order. First you put in the flour, then you put in the sugar, then you put in the milk, so forth and so on. You wouldn't say put in the flour, grease the pan, put in the milk, go buy the eggs. That doesn't make any sense. So, because it doesn't make any sense, I'm not going to remember any of it. So, you want to pick an organizational pattern that is easy for your audience to follow; B comes after A, then C, D, E, F. That way, they'll remember what you're talking about."
