"Okay so to center this bowl on to this bat, we put down our lines and we have estimated where it needs to be. And the next thing we're going to do is use a pin tool like this and I'm going to turn the bowl on the wheel. I have my hand in a secure spot and then simply run it across the side of the bowl. And as you can see it has created a line where it hit. Now I'm going to find that, the two sides, two spots right here and here and I'm simply going to push the bowl slightly forward and then I'm going to check it again. Okay now as you can see now the pin is not making an individual mark on the bowl. So now we are ready to attach this bowl to the wheel, getting some moisture on there so that any clay sticks, trying it out just a little bit. Just try it out running your fingers across it and then we are going to take some left over clay here and stick the clay in three spots around the bowl like so. Notice how I am not sticking the clay to the pot, I'm simply sticking it to the bat and what this is doing is giving us a nice secure pot on the wheel. O'kay so now we have secured the bowl and we are now ready to start trimming and I'm going to do that in the next section of this lesson."
