"I have Matt here, he's a new client, he's a male in his early twenties. Now he has a hair problem on the back of his neck that he wants me to address so his haircuts last three or four weeks between and he doesn't like that unkempt look that grows down the back of his neck. So before I start, I've done his consultation, I've cleaned and prepped the area, now I'm going to get everything else ready for my visit with Matt. The first thing I do is I set my timer. He wants to do an hour so I set the timer then I wipe things down. Sterilize everything. Sterilize the end of my machine from the last client I had. I've already cleaned the bed down and everything else here to get prepared for him. This is fresh linen. Now I'm going to get these needle tips that are sterile. These have to be replaced after each client. I put that on and then I get a fresh probe which is a sealed needle that's sterile. I break that seal and I always do that in front of my client so they're confident they're not going to catch some kind of illness and I use a sterile set of forceps and I load that on the machine, set that not touching the tip. I've got to be very cautious, universal precautions because if I got clipped with that needle in my skin and this was a used needle I could end up sick."
