"Okay, in this segment we're going to cover installing the lock module, and that sits right directly underneath the driver's seat. We're also going to install this latch cover assembly, the two handles for the rear tailgate and for the gas door latch. Should have two Phillips screws, and remember if you're going to use a drill driver, make sure you turn your cuts down real low so you don't strip the screws out. Here's our electrical connector for the electronic lock module. If you'll notice it's got a little keyway on there and that's going to determine how it sets in there. There should be an empty hole in the steel. It screws into a plastic insert. First we'll plug in our electrical connection. We put that keyway in the hole, and then the screw should line up right into the plastic insert. I'll get it started first with my fingers, and just tighten it down. That's the lock module, and that sits comfortably under the driver's seat. This flap of carpet here that's a cut out for the heater duct that comes underneath the seat will provide heat to the back. Folded down there's a wire harness right there and you flip it up underneath the wire harness it'll hold that lip down and it won't inhibit the flow of the heat coming back for the rear passengers. This installs and slides over our latch assembly and then it's held down by one screw underneath this hatch door there. You slide it down into position. Keep an eye on your carpet as you're installing these items. If you don't keep pulling the carpet tight so the holes are lining up, as you're tightening things down we can be creating some problems--alignment problems--when we go to put in the other items, so pay attention. We can stretch and manipulate the carpet some. We're concerned with the holes right around the area we're working in at this time. Can't find the hole man. Okay, once you get it lined up just go ahead and screw it down. That's the clutch you hear. Just snap the cover over. First we'll do the small gas door. It goes on the inside. Just slide down the handle and it'll click on. Then we'll do the rear latch. Excellent. That will cover installing the lock module and our cover assembly for our latch. Please watch our next segment and we're going to be installing that heater duct section that fills in right behind the brackets that hold the center column assembly."
