"I'm going to talk about cook pot selection. A lot depends on what kind of foods you're cooking and how many people you're cooking for. You can decide volume, how big you want your pot. But once you do that, then you have to figure out what the pot is going to be made of. A common material is aluminum. It's very light. Here's a, you know, everybody's seen this, this is the quintessential boy scout mess kit. It's light, the downside it's not very durable. Aluminum is very easy to dent. Then you go to the other end of the spectrum there's a stainless steel pot. Very, very sturdy, hard to dent, the only thing is, it's kind of heavy. Do you want to carry the extra weight, just to have the extra durability? There's other ways you can take care of that. Right here we have an ionized aluminum. With this you have the lightness of the aluminum but it's more durable. Still another option is titanium. It's like your, your highest of the high end cook gear. It's very light, it's very durable, but in backpacking, you pay more to get less. So it's going to cost you a little bit more. If you have any questions, give your local outfitter a holler."
