"I want to talk about cartridge stoves now. These are very popular, and why are they popular? Well, they're nice because they're easy to use, and they're quick. They often will boil a liter of water in less than four minutes. Basically, you have a cartridge with your fuel in it. This cannot be refilled. That's a little bit of a downside to the stove, but once this is empty, you can take it to your local hazardous waste site, and they'll recycle the metal in the cartridge. Basically, what you do is to take your very light, three ounce stove, and attach the cartridge. My first cartridge stove was a puncture style, where you just put this on, and it punctures it. This one is nice because it has a little valve on the cartridge, and you can take the cartridge on and off, as you need. Once you have that set up, place it out and bring the valve out, and you can light it; very easy. If you have any questions about cartridge stoves, give your outfitter a holler."
