"Alright, how about a develope with some different arm motions. We have some advanced arms that we can add to a basic develope. Remember to stay engaged, and I always do my little set up breath before I have any movement of arm relay. So it's going to be an inhale, not an exhale, long spine, shoulders relaxed. Now you can keep your arms down, and that's actually kind of hard to balance there. Typically, a develope will have our arms out to the sides. Remember whenever you lift your arms up, your intercostal muscles will open up those ribs, so you want to keep them pressed down, extra hard, stay engaged, have a nice hard stomach. Arms are out. Now one leg will be moving from here, it's a develo, that's your timing, and pe, lengthening, lengthen the spine, lengthen the leg. Straight leg down. Now once you've got eight to ten with no problems from the arms extended to the side, you can try reaching the arms up. Pay extra close attention to your ribs, the bottoms of it especially. Long spine, arms reach, same movement, it's devel-o, stretch and lengthen. Eight or ten is sufficient to give you a really good burn, a good workout through your core and your pilates powerhouse. And that's how you'd use the Advanced Arms."
