"O'kay so now we are going to learn how to make leg warmers. I am using a 5 mm gage yarn with a 5 mm crochet hook and we are going to start off just like we did when we learned how to crochet with a slip knot which you always start off with when doing crochet. Now we are going to continue to make our initial chain. This initial chain needs to be the circumference of whoever's calf because this is what we are building off of. So continue the initial chain and it's probably going to be longer than you think and compare it to the circumference of your calf."
