Video Transcript

"O.k., right now I'm getting ready to show you how to add extensions to a braid when you're braiding to the scalp. Just to add a little bit of length to the bottom of it. And as always, we're going to start with parting the hair. I'm going to do it a bit big, just to show you how this is going to work. I'm going to cut it off right about here, on this depth of her hair. We're going to bring it back a good ways, check underneath to see about how wide. We're going to make this nice and round, and not any type of sharp turn. So we can kind of really flow easily. And then we're just going to keep bringing it down. And again, this isn't going to end at the very bottom right here. It's probably going to end somewhere right here. Just to keep it kind of straight, so when we do the next one, it'll take this and go all the way down. So, grab these little pieces right here, and we have a nice round braid edge to work with. Going to pin all this hair back with a comb, and then we will be ready to start."
